For Clinicians

Clinical supervision & mentoring.

RANZCP-accredited supervision for psychiatry registrars, early-career psychiatrists and psychologists. Reflective, supportive, and informed by 20 years across child, adolescent, adult and perinatal psychiatry.

A path leading up to a coastal lighthouse — steady guidance for the road into clinical practice.

I offer clinical supervision and mentoring tailored for mental health professionals — particularly:

  • Psychiatry registrars
  • Early-career psychiatrists
  • Psychologists
  • Psychotherapy trainees and clinicians
What supervision covers

Three modes, one focus.

Psychotherapy case supervision

Guidance on therapeutic approaches, formulation, transference and countertransference, and case management — across psychodynamic, attachment-based, family and couples work.

Clinical supervision

Support around clinical decision-making, diagnostic formulation, medication choices, risk and complex presentations — including child, adolescent, adult and perinatal cases.

Mentoring

Professional development and career guidance for early-career psychiatrists navigating the transition from training to practice — including private practice setup.

Background

Where the supervision comes from.

My approach is informed by nearly 20 years of experience across psychiatric disciplines — child, adolescent, adult and perinatal — with specialist training in the UK (Maudsley, Guy's, Bethlem) and Australia (Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, Westmead Hospital).

I worked as a Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist (staff specialist) at CAMHS, Westmead Hospital — responsible for the inpatient ward and for training the next generation of psychiatrists and doctors.

I'm an accredited supervisor with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), and a hearing member of the Medical Council. Supervision arrangements through me satisfy RANZCP requirements for training and ongoing professional development.
